The Creators Behind Panama Treasure Hunt
At Panama Treasure Hunt, we believe in transforming history into adventure, and it all began with two passionate dreamers: Eva and Sabela.
Eva is the visionary behind this exciting project. After graduating in Hotel & Events Management in Switzerland, she relocated to Panama to assist a friend in opening a hotel, quickly falling in love with the country and its rich history. Eva’s passion for unique and enjoyable experiences led her to explore numerous escape rooms, as well as her first scavenger hunt during her visit to the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh in 2022. While there, she participated in "Sherlock’s Secret Challenge," a game designed by Sabela, and immediately envisioned bringing a similar adventure to Panama’s historic heart.
Sabela, a Spanish game designer and storyteller, has lived in Edinburgh for the past 14 years. Her enthusiasm for games, coupled with her extensive knowledge of history, drives her to create immersive experiences unlike any other. After years of guiding visitors through the hidden secrets of Edinburgh, she combined her talents to craft treasure hunts that challenge the mind and ignite the imagination. Sabela created “Sherlock’s Secret Challenge” as her first scavenger hunt, part of the world-renowned Fringe Festival, fulfilling a lifelong dream. Since then, she has developed a diverse array of scavenger hunts and other captivating games.
When Eva approached Sabela with the idea of launching a treasure hunt in Casco Viejo, they found themselves perfectly aligned in their vision. Together, they have transformed Panama’s history into an interactive adventure, seamlessly blending storytelling, puzzles, and real-world exploration into an unforgettable experience.
